The SmartDesk 2 is an affordable and super high quality Stand Up desk. The prices starts at $299 and there’s a variety of options when it comes to the surface finish, size, shape, the leg color and even the motor system. The version I tested was made from real Bamboo and has the Ergonomic shape and also features the Business Edition Dual Motor setup and can go from 25 inches, all the way to 50 inches high and can support up to 300 lbs. It also includes a 5 year warranty. The dimensions of the table top is 53 inches wide by 30 inches deep with a thickness of 1 inch and features white platform legs and a pair of nickel plated grommets that look really nice and allow you to manage your cables.
It was super easy to set up and put together and it even includes some cable management clips which should help to keep things looking clean underneath. The first thing I noticed after it was assembled was how solid and sturdy it felt. This is not a light table, it’s actually kind of heavy which is good and keeps it stable.
The Smart keypad controller is easy to read and is even backlit so you can see the information even in the dark. It includes a digital height level readout in inches along with buttons to raise and lower the desk. After that we have 4 preset buttons that you can program with the M button at the end so you can raise and lower the desk from sitting and standing height with ease.
